Emerging Tourism Leaders Summit

At the Emerging Tourism Leaders Summit, I presented a masterclass in Event Planning Excellence. In this session, we explored the core elements of effective event planning, how to tailor your event to achieve your goals, and how to leverage an event to have a significant impact.

I shared my expertise and insight from my 24-years’ producing major public events. It was also great to engaging with fellow industry professionals and discussing the future of tourism. Tourism and major events have always had an important co-dependent relationship, and it’s great to see that is set to continue to thrive in the future.

What was the Emerging Tourism Leaders Summit about? It’s all about helping the next generation of leaders shift from learning to leading. In this full-day conference, industry leaders, like myself, shared our leadership journey, knowledge and vision for the future of the tourism, hospitality and events industry. The program included keynote presentations, masterclasses and networking with sessions on leadership and key visitor economy trends.

It was an opportunity for emerging and established tourism professionals to connect with peers, learn from experts and help shape the future of this dynamic and ever adapting industry.
